1st Quarter 2022

 

The Coronavirus limited events over the last year or more. However, many organizations are returning to hosted events, with greater emphasis on health safety practices. We are more than pleased to share some examples of coming events by our supported organizations:

 

 

Chesapeake Region Accessible Boating (CRAB)

August 20:  The Annual CRABCup for Accessible Boating

The CRABCup is the second jewel in the Triple Crown of Charity Sailing, and was voted BEST nonprofit fundraiser by the readers of the Best of Annapolis.

Central Florida Dreamplex – Ordinary Sports for Extraordinary People

April 2nd:  Illuminate for Inclusion

Dreamplex hosted an evening of illumination featuring Florida Symphony Youth Orchestra and Blue Chip Entertainment to celebrate the inclusion of people of all abilities. The event brought the community together for live music, food, and to light up the night with a glow dance party. This year’s event was unfortunately limited due to thunderstorms.

 

Bobby Jones’ Chiari-Syringomyelia Foundation


March 27:  The 10th Annual Bobby Jones Classic was held at East Lake Golf Club in Atlanta, GA

March 10:  Dr. Shelly Wang was featured for an online “Ask the Expert” session on Chiari-Syringomyelia.

 

Southwestern Association for Indian Arts (SWAIA)

August 20/21:  Indian Market Centennial Event 

SWAIA will hold the 100th annual Indian Market in Santa Fe this year!!! IN PERSON! The Jack Kagan Foundation is thrilled to support this amazing event. Last year’s market was held on virtual platforms only due to the pandemic.

 

Diveheart

February 12:  Diveheart Scuba Experience at Marquette University

 Feb 27:  Diveheart Scuba Experience at Oaklawn Community High School.
